The long way round.

I'm from a small village near Treviso, in the north-east of Italy, with the Dolomites two hours up the road. It was a place where the outside was simply where you were: the fields behind the houses, the river, the woods above the vineyards.

I studied and worked six years in software and hospitality. I moved to Amsterdam, to see what living in a city could be, doing product and communication. I was good at it and I am not embarrassed by it. I felt that being there was changing something at my core, and that what I wanted was to be outside: the fresh air, the grass under my feet, the smell of the flowers, the sounds.

Then three months with a backpack through India and Vietnam, staying with the people who live there. Then a full year in Levanger, Norway, practising friluftsliv every day and every season, on foot, on skis, on rope and on water.

That year gave me a new direction, and more curiosity. Experience it, live it, and think it over afterwards.
